Mezhivska amalgamated territorial community – investment attractive, ecological, comfortable for living and recreation.

The economic stability of the territory is ensured by the agricultural, mining and services sector. The share of agricultural production in the economy is over 98%. Farms mainly specialize in crop production – the main crops are wheat and sunflower.

Among the enterprises of the agro-industrial complex that own the main land bank are: LLC “Obrii”, FH “Yana”, LLC “Mezhivske”, LLC ” Peremoha”, LLC ” Nyva PHK”, LLC ” Promin”, LLC ” Vektor-X” , FH “Lada Agro”, LLC ” Skhid Agro”, FH “Lad”.

There are two elevators with a capacity of 40.000 and 20.200 tons for storing grain products in the community. These services are provided by the leading Ukrainian agro-industrial company “Optimus Agro”, one of the largest processors of agricultural products in Ukraine, which produces sunflower oil, meal and husk.

An exceptional enterprise in terms of types of cultivated products in the agro-industrial sector is FH “Zhyvonosne dzherelo”, which cultivates not only grain and industrial crops, but also grain and stone fruits, nuts and bushes. The area of orchard crops is 40 hectares, grain – 96 hectares. The farm successfully grows more than thirty varieties of perennial apples, pears, apricots, plums, peaches, raspberries and even cherries. The average yield of pome fruits on the farm is from 120 to 180 centners per hectare, the yield of stone fruits is over 110 centners per 1 hectare. According to these indicators, the company occupies a leading position.

On the territory of the community operates a private enterprise “OVK” which specializes in the production of long-term storage rusks and flour confectionery products.

The livestock industry is represented by powerful manufacturers: FH “Yana”, LLC “Dniprovskyi”, LLC “Obrii “, FH “Lada-Agro”, FH “Makara”. The enterprises specialize on pigs, cows and sheep breeding. While, the private sector leads in the number of rabbits breeding (976 units) and poultry (40.800 units).

Beekeeping is actively developing. NGO “Mezhivska District Union of Beekeepers” has been already working for 2 years, uniting 52 people with more than 2800 bee families. The organization plans to create a servicing cooperative, which will allow honey producers to jointly increase product lots, support the development of carpentry workshop, creating demand for the production of hives and related products.

The service sector responds quickly and flexibly to the demand of the population and introduces exactly those types that are currently relevant. In order to provide access to public utilities in the community a “Center for Social and Domestic Services” was established. Residents can use the services of “Master for an hour”, shoe and sewing workshops and hairdressers.

Mezhivska community supports the trend of energy efficiency. Thanks to the work of the public utility company “Komunservice”, which produces fuel pellets from wood, only 5 out of 12 administrative buildings use gas for heating. Since the beginning of 2020, a project to build a large industrial solar power plant with a capacity of 100 MW on a plot of 185 hectares is being implemented.

The industry of the community is formed by the availability of facilities of LLC “Demurinskyi MPP”, which excavate reserves of titanium-zirconium sands of the Vovchanske deposit for the extraction of ilmenite, rutile, zirconium and other concentrates.

The natural beauty of the territory is represented by the sightseeing and excursion route “Pearls of our region” Mezhova – Slavyanka – Krutoiarivka – Mezhova, which invites you to admire the views of landscape reserves and plunge into the times of the Scythian tribes, visiting the mounds, which are archaeological sites. And visit to the building of Zemska school of the beginning of XX century introduces the Art Nouveau style, which was formed on the basis of Ukrainian Baroque.

Mezhivska ATC is an active participant in the following international programs: “U-LEAD with Europe”, GIZ, USAID, which are willing to support partnership and cooperation with the community to implement ideas. Evidence of this is the implementation of the following projects:

  • “Creation of Administrative Service Centre”;
  • “Mobile Administrative Service Centre”;
  • “Energy efficiency in communities II”;
  • “E-Community: electronic services in ATC”;
  • “Community for people: increasing the competence of communities for the development of social services”;
  • “Integrated spatial planning for Amalgamated Territorial Communities”;
  • “Development of capable educational networks in ATC”;
  • Local System Development under the USAID project “Support \Agrarian and Rural Development”;
  • “Support for amalgamated territorial communities in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.”

The community sees further economic growth in the development of:

  • crop production;
  • animal husbandry;
  • energy efficiency;
  • production of building materials.

To implement business initiatives, the territory offers:

  • 9 land plots with a total area of about 70 hectares;
  • 4 real estate objects, with a total area of about 2,500 m².
