Novolativska rural territorial community is located in the southwestern part of Dnipropetrovsk region, near Kryvyi Rih.
According to the rating “Institutional capacity and sustainable development of small and medium-sized communities” Novolativska TC entered the TOP-20 the best communities of Dnipropetrovsk region. The assessment was carried out according to 40 criteria and demonstrates the institutional attractiveness of communities in 2021.
Also, TC is among the top ten leaders in terms of financial solvency. The indicator of own income per one inhabitant is 18.5 thousand hryvnyas, which makes the community the fourth place among the communities of Ukraine with a population of up to 5 thousand people.
The budget of the Novolativska territorial community consists of tax (77.11%) and non-tax (5.5%) revenues and official transfers (17.39%).

Part of the capacities of these enterprises – dumps of iron ore quarries and tailings – are located on the territory of the community.
The agrarian sector of the Novolativska community economy is represented by the active activity of agricultural enterprises and farms. The farmland area is 16733.53 hectares (60% of the total TС area). Local companies specialize in the cultivation of cereals and industrial crops. It should be noted that they mainly grow sunflower, wheat, barley and oil rapeseed.

At the beginning of this year, within the framework of the decentralization reform, Novolativska TC received an additional 158.71 hectares of land for communal ownership. Obtaining of these land areas will help to increase the territorial community capacity, additional income to the local budget and enhance its investment attractiveness.

Today, on the territory of Novolativska TG, it is being implemented a project of creation of a new iron ore production facility by the Canadian mining company Black Iron. In addition, SkhidRudTrade LLC proposes a project for the permits’ sale for the subsurface resources use of two hematite quartzite deposits in the Latovskaya-Pivnichna and Latovskaya-Pivdenna sections.
