«Cities4Cities» online platform to support Ukrainian cities launched in Strasbourg on March 29.
The platform is a free tool that will allow local governments in Ukraine and Europe to share their needs, as well as offer practical assistance related to local infrastructure.
The platform «Cities4Cities» was launched at the initiative of members of the Ukrainian delegation to the Congress and Bernd Föringer, Speaker of the House of Local Government, with the assistance of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe.
Secretary General of the Congress Andreas Kiefer noted the efforts of local and regional authorities of the Council of Europe to help Ukrainian colleagues and residents, and stressed the importance of launching the «Cities4Cities» platform.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Borys Tarasyuk, Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the Council of Europe, stressed that the initiative will serve well to provide practical assistance to Ukrainians affected by the war of the Russian Federation against our state.
