The present of Ukrainian cities as a result of the invasion of the russian army. Summary of June, Day 506

In June this year, the invading forces shelled the Ukrainian capital and Kyiv region several dozens of times. The terrorists mainly used drones and cruise missiles for the attacks. As a result, more than 100 residential houses, health care facilities, a dormitory and power lines were damaged. More than 20 civilians were injured, about 10 died, including children.

Dnipropetrovsk region suffered from the fire of enemy artillery systems, which hit the Nikopol district almost every day. The region was also attacked several times by drones and cruise missiles, resulting in damage to industrial facilities, power lines, gas pipelines, and residential infrastructure. There are dozens of wounded and dead among the civilian population.

In Zaporizhzhia region, the intensity of enemy attacks only increases due to the proximity to the front line and the place of offensive operations. In this direction the enemy uses the full combat potential of its means of defeat – cruise missiles, artillery, mortars, aerial bombs, artillery, drones and many other types of weapons. The number of shelling has reached the 1000 mark, dozens of residential buildings and industrial facilities have been destroyed, and the number of dead and wounded is almost a hundred.

Another region where active hostilities are directly taking place is the Kherson region. In early June, one of the biggest disasters of our time took place here. Russian terrorists, who have been periodically shelling the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant for more than a year, blew up the dam, causing a real ecocide by flooding settlements, pastures, agricultural land and other places in the region that are of critical importance to the people of Kherson. The number of shelling of the whole region counts almost a thousand, shells fired several times more, and the number of victims of flooding after the explosion of the Kakhovka HPP is difficult to count – approximately we can talk about hundreds of dead people and thousands of wounded, as well as even more animals. Every day the aggressor even after such a catastrophe continues to hit Kherson region, shelling not only buildings, but also evacuation points for victims of the disaster. It is known about several dozens of dead civilians, as well as volunteers, including foreigners.

Ukraine’s border region suffers daily from the aggression of invaders. Sumy region suffers most of all from artillery and mortar strikes. Every day, dozens of shells fly across the territory of the region. The enemies hit mainly critical infrastructure – gas pipelines, water pipelines, power lines. Residential infrastructure, as well as television and radio broadcasting facilities, are also suffering – this month the enemies damaged a television tower.

The situation is similar in Chernihiv region, which is also located on the border with the aggressor. This region is attacked dozens of times daily by mines and artillery shells. It is also estimated that the russian federation has caused environmental damage to Chernihiv region worth 18 billion hryvnias.

Kharkiv region was one of the first to take the enemy’s blow and continues to contain its madness today. Firstly, the enemy is hitting the residential infrastructure of the city and the region – over 100 buildings were destroyed and mutilated during the month. Also in June there were several attacks on educational institutions and culture, industrial enterprises. Furthermore, several times the enemy hit the ammonia pipeline. About a dozen civilians were killed and almost a hundred people were wounded, among them the elderly, pregnant women and children. The region suffers mainly from S-300 complexes, artillery, mortars, as well as cruise and ballistic missiles.

The Donetsk region, which has been suffering for almost 10 years from the fire of enemy invaders, again suffered numerous aggressor strikes in June. Air bombs, rockets and artillery shells were launched at populated areas. Schools, residential houses, power lines were under attack. About 50 people were killed and nearly 100 civilians were wounded.

The occupiers are destroying the controlled part of Luhansk region on a daily basis with all available means of destruction – aviation, artillery, rockets, mines and others. In June, there were dozens of wounded and dead here, among them volunteers, including foreigners.

Odessa region also experienced June with serious losses. Enemy drones attacked port infrastructure, causing damage to buildings, and there were also several hits on residential buildings. The result was hundreds of wounded and killed, as well as nearly 300 mutilated apartments. One of the arrivals was directly into a movie studio building.

The central regions of Ukraine, namely Cherkasy, Kirovohrad and Poltava, suffered somewhat less destruction and attacks. Here, the enemy struck several times during the month with cruise and ballistic missiles and UAVs. In the South, Mykolaiv saw several drone raids on residential and industrial infrastructure. In the West, there were also only a few arrivals – Lviv, Zakarpattya, Ivano-Frankivsk, Volyn, Rivne, Ternopil, Chernivtsi, Khmelnitsky, Vinnitsa and Zhytomyr regions were hit with similar types of weapons. Mostly infrastructure and industrial facilities, as well as several residential ones, were damaged and destroyed.
