The Republic of Korea will allocate USD 4.76 million to support the digital transformation of the Ukrainian Government. The agreement was signed on April 14 in Kyiv by representatives of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).
The funds will be used for a three-year project that will last until 2027. Its goal is to make government work more efficient, transparent, and convenient for civil servants. The initiative will be implemented by the Ministry of Digital Transformation, UNDP, and the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers.
“The goal of the Ministry of Digital Transformation is to simplify interaction with the state as much as possible for both citizens and those who provide these services. We are grateful to the Republic of Korea for supporting an important initiative that will help make the public sector more efficient,” said Mykhailo Fedorov, Vice Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science and Technology Development and Minister of Digital Transformation.
