Polish Helios Strategia Secures €10.8M Loan from Oschadbank to Build Solar Power Plant in Ukraine

Oschadbank has signed a €10.8 million investment loan agreement with “Helios Luchky”, a company within the Helios Strategia Group. The funding will be used for the construction of a solar power plant (SPP) with a capacity of 22.35 MW, inverter capacity of 16 MW, and an energy storage system (ESS) with a capacity of 33.44 MWh.

The facility will be built in Mukachevo District, Zakarpattia region, with commissioning scheduled for January 2026.

Yuriy Katsion, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Oschadbank, stated that this seven-year project financing is an example of long-term investment essential to Ukraine’s economy. He emphasized that the project combines advanced technologies with strong profitability from electricity sales on the day-ahead market.

Helios Strategia founder Olena Skrypnyk noted that the project highlights the technological maturity of Ukrainian companies and represents a step toward decentralized energy systems.

Helios Strategia is an international engineering group specializing in EPC projects for solar power and energy storage systems for industrial use. The group has contributed to projects totaling 1.2 GW in capacity, with major developments in the Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, and Mykolaiv regions.

Additionally, it was reported that since the beginning of 2025, Oschadbank has increased its energy lending portfolio to €93 million, with 45% allocated to energy storage systems, 43% to wind power projects, and 12% to hybrid solar and storage projects.
