Ukrainian mental health startup Clearly has attracted €760,000 investments

Clearly received funding from Purple Ventures to scale and improve its AI model. Clearly, a Ukrainian international mental health platform and one of the fastest-growing players in online therapy, has raised €760,000. The round was led by Purple Ventures, with participation from Pragmatech Ventures, to continue developing its unique AI model and expand into new markets, Startup kitchen reports.

About Clearly

  • Clearly, an AI-powered mental health platform with headquartered in Delaware, was founded by two Ukrainian entrepreneurs Dmytro Marakhovskyi and Dmytro Kovalenko. It combines video therapy with licensed professionals, 24/7 AI companions, and standalone AI therapy. 
  • According to the company, Clearly has become a market leader in Ukraine and expanded to Poland, Spain, and is preparing to enter Brazil and the U.S. The platform facilitates over 20,000 therapy sessions monthly, generating $600,000+ in revenue while remaining profitable.
  • Clearly is currently finalizing the development of its standalone AI therapy solution and preparing to launch services for the Spanish-speaking community in the U.S.

Investment details

Clearly has secured a total of €1.352 million in seed funding from investors. Current investment was led by Purple Ventures and backed by Pragmatech Ventures with participation from angel investor Dmytro Orel and $150,000 from non-equity grants.

  • Purple Ventures is a Brno-based venture capital firm that invests in early-stage, tech-enabled startups across Central and Eastern Europe. 
  • The firm targets pre-seed and seed investment rounds, offering ticket sizes ranging from €250,000 to €750,000.
  • Pragmatech Ventures is a Ukrainian venture capital firm and startup studio targets a B2B SaaS and marketplace companies. The firm also focuses on enterprise software, HR technology, marketplaces, biotechnology, marketing tech, market networks, and property technology sectors.

A quarter of its funds Clearly will use for research and development, with plans to double this proportion with the new capital.
