The Ministry of Education and Training of Spain has announced a special selection competition for up to 200 language assistants who speak Ukrainian and provide educational support for Ukrainian students who relocated to Spain because of the Russian invasion.

Ukrainian language assistants may be citizens of Ukraine, citizens of Spain or citizens of other European Union countries, who have higher education or students of higher educational institutions (the second course or equivalent, or with an education that meets the requirements of teaching, and also can provide psychological or social support ).

This is reported on the official website of the department.

The special program of cooperation is part of the Spanish plan to provide comprehensive educational assistance to displaced Ukrainian students, introduced by the Government in March this year, together with the autonomous communities. The plan includes the creation of teaching materials in Ukrainian and Spanish, the temporary admission of teachers from Ukraine, the streamlining of certification and accreditation procedures.

Let us remind you that the Ministers of Education of Ukraine and Slovenia discussed the possibility of providing access to the Ukrainian system of education for children who have left the country.
