In August, the enemy inflicted the most grief and destruction on the Kherson region and its inhabitants. Over 1,000 shellings of varying intensity occurred here during the month, using almost the entire arsenal of means of destruction – artillery, rockets, aerial bombs and drones. Several dozen people were killed and wounded, and a hospital, residential buildings, critical and social infrastructure were destroyed.
Zaporizhzhia region has undergone almost as much shelling as Kherson region. The defenders of Ukraine are fighting here, destroying the enemy by conducting offensive operations. Most often the occupants here use aviation, which strikes with cruise missiles, aerial bombs, ballistics, drones. Residential buildings, industrial facilities, warehouses are under attack.
The border region also suffers daily fire from the invaders. Sumy region, as well as its critical infrastructure and residential buildings, suffer monthly strikes from mortars, artillery and drones. Over 500 shellings, power lines, and several dozen houses were destroyed here in August. Due to the proximity to the aggressor state, the occupiers are able to shell absolutely all border settlements on a daily basis. The situation is the same in Chernihiv region, where the enemy also destroyed several monuments of architecture and history.
Kharkiv region, where enemy armed formations still remain in a small area, was subjected to particularly brutal shelling in August due to the occupants’ ability to advance towards the city of Kupiansk. More than 500 rockets, ballistic missiles, drones and MLRS were fired. Critical and logistical infrastructure, civilian buildings, and industrial facilities came under fire.
Dnipropetrovsk region, whose southern border borders on occupied territories, namely the nuclear power plant in Enerhodar, is constantly suffering from artillery strikes. The enemy, under cover of a significant nuclear power facility in Ukraine and Europe, hits the Nikopol district on a daily basis. Several dozens of shellings every day cause significant destruction to the homes of civilians, as well as prevent local businessmen from working. The city is paralyzed for almost several hours every day due to the criminal and insane rage of the murderous murderers of the bloody regime of the Kremlin. The occupiers’ favorite weapons they use against the region are ballistic complexes, drones and cruise missiles.
Donetsk and Luhansk regions, which have been suffering from the criminal activities of the occupants for 9 years in a row, suffered from another abuse by the enemy in August. Each of the regions has undergone hundreds of shelling with all kinds of weapons, some towns and villages are simply destroyed, and in their place only scorched earth. Here you can clearly see all the insane rage of the killers, who for several years can not achieve their goal and in response take revenge on civilians and their homes.
Odessa Region, whose port infrastructure has been destroyed by ship-borne missiles and drones for months on end, has once again come under fire from criminals. During August, enemy shelling destroyed port facilities and more than 10,000 tons of Ukrainian grain, exacerbating the food crisis in the world. In addition, the occupiers could not get past residential infrastructure – dozens of civilian buildings were smashed, there are dead and wounded.
In other regions, enemy efforts focused on searching for military equipment and weapons, but as always, the occupiers hit civilians and their homes and the infrastructure that provides light, water and gas. Kyiv was attacked several times by a swarm of drones that caused damage to residential infrastructure, in Lviv region a kindergarten and a college were hit, in Khmelnytskyi region residential houses. For the second month in a row we can see that the Rashists are concentrating their main efforts on the territories close to them, destroying either Ukrainians or at least their homes and normal life, and to the more distant regions they apply intimidation tactics, violating all the laws of war with their criminal actions.
