In Q2, the Group transferred UAH 4.6 billion to the Ukrainian budget, which is 15% more y/y
Metinvest group, taking into account associated companies and joint ventures, paid almost UAH 11 billion in taxes and fees to the budgets of all levels in Ukraine in January-September 2023. This is stated in the press release on the company’s website.
In 9 months, the company paid UAH 2.4 billion in single social contribution (SSC), UAH 2.3 billion – in personal income tax, and UAH 2.8 billion – in income tax.
Subsoil use fees – 1.5 billion, land fees – 893 million UAH (+4% y/y) and environmental tax – 449 million UAH were also significant payments to the state and local budgets of Ukraine.
In Q3 of 2023, the Group increased payments to the Ukrainian budget by 15% compared to the same period in 2022 – up to UAH 4.6 billion. In particular, for July-September, the payment of single social contribution amounted to UAH 847 million (+8% y/y), personal income tax – 818 million UAH (+12% y/y), and income tax – 1.7 billion UAH (+28% y/y).
In July-September, the subsoil use fee increased by 2% y/y – up to UAH 618 million, the land fee increased by 9% – up to UAH 304 million, and the environmental tax increased by 24% – up to UAH 146 million.

As GMK Center reported earlier, in 2022 the Metinvest group, taking into account associated companies and joint ventures allocated UAH 20.5 billion taxes and fees to the budgets of all levels in Ukraine. In the structure of taxes and fees, the largest were the income tax – UAH 6.6 billion, the single social contribution – more than UAH 4 billion, and the personal income tax – UAH 3.7 billion.
