GovTech Alliance of Ukraine: new opportunities for state digitalization

Ukraine has launched a professional community to support state digitalization – the GovTech Alliance of Ukraine (GTA UA).

GTA UA’s mission is to unite the efforts of IT companies, the government, and international partners to implement innovative, transparent, and effective digital solutions for the state and to promote the sustainable development of Ukraine’s GovTech ecosystem.

“The creation of the GovTech Alliance of Ukraine is a strategically important step that will not only facilitate effective cooperation between the state and business, but also create opportunities for attracting international contracts with other governments. This strengthens Ukraine’s position as a digital leader on a global scale. Together with Ukrainian businesses, we will promote our govtech solutions to the world, because successful business is the foundation of a strong economy. I congratulate the GTA UA team on this achievement and wish them to increase the number of alliance members. Let’s move forward, building cooperation!” said Valeria Ionan, Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation for European Integration.

The main tasks of GTA UA:

  • Creating a safe and stimulating environment for IT companies
  • Strengthening cooperation between the state and business
  • Exporting Ukrainian technological solutions to international markets

“We see GTA UA as a leading platform that forms a strong and integrated GovTech ecosystem, where innovation, cooperation and openness become the basis for effective public administration and economic growth in Ukraine,” said Kateryna Stavniychuk, CEO of GTA UA.

Five IT companies specializing in the development of digital solutions for the state have already joined GTA UA. They include AMEDIA, Kitsoft, MK-Consulting, Prozori Solutions Strimco.

GTA UA creates a platform for the development of technologies that help improve the work of government institutions and make services more accessible to citizens. This will help not only to improve the situation in Ukraine but also to present Ukrainian developments in the international arena.
