Doing business
FE “Vidrodzhennia”, located in Petrykivka territorial community in Dnipropetrovsk region, is a vivid example of how perseverance, strategic management, innovation and successful investments can help farmers to succeed even in the difficult conditions of war.
The farm was founded in 1992. Initially, the main activity was horticulture – the establishment of fruit orchards. Later, realising the importance of diversifying risks, the founder and owner of the farm, Ivan Yarmoliuk, decided to develop vegetable growing. This was a crucial step, as investments in new areas allowed the company to gain significant experience in growing various vegetable crops.
Over 20 years of operation, the farm has tried growing about 20 crops. Currently, the main focus is on three key crops: onions, carrots and potatoes. The farm also grows beetroot, which has its own niche in the market.
One of the innovative areas of the farm’s activities is growing onions through seedlings in greenhouses. This technology enabled by targeted investments that the company has been making for 10 years demonstrates high economic efficiency and allows for consistently high yields.
The farm pays special attention to the storage of its products. The company operates modern storage facilities, which were built by investment and ensure high-quality storage of fruits and vegetables for further sale at a profitable time.
In order to further develop and increase competitiveness, Ivan Savych initiated a large-scale investment project to build a 5,000-tonne capacity complex for storing, sorting and packaging fruit and vegetable products.
The project, which is supported by the Dnipropetrovsk investment agency (DIA), includes:
This investment project will be an important step towards scaling up the farm and entering new markets. More information about this project is available here.
Despite the difficult conditions for doing business caused by the war and economic challenges, the farm continues to operate and develop. Timely investments and reliable partners, among whom the company “Bejo” Ukraine plays a significant role in this.
“Bejo” company does not just sell seeds or crop protection products, it provides full support. Thanks to partner investments and support, the company’s specialists work together with the agronomists of the FE “Vidrodzhennia”, monitor the situation and help to achieve the best result.
The farm is an example of a successful business due to its strategic approach, innovations, investments and strong partnerships. Despite today’s challenges, the farm’s team continues to work, providing high-quality products and contributing to the development of Ukraine’s agricultural sector.
