The Strategic Investment Council has decided to significantly expand the SPP of public investments, which identifies priority projects for state funding. It now includes 42 new projects and four programs totaling more than UAH 1.1 trillion.
Within the competence of the Ministry of Development, 11 projects (UAH 387.8 billion) in the field of transport, two projects and two programs (UAH 76.8 billion) in the field of municipal infrastructure and services, as well as one program in the field of housing (UAH 12.5 billion) have been added to the SPP.
Other projects include: 25 projects (UAH 660.06 billion) in the field of energy, 3 projects (UAH 2.5 billion) in the field of public safety, 1 program (UAH 6 billion) in the field of education and science, and 1 project (UAH 0.4 billion) in the field of the legal system.
The SPP ensures that projects are aligned with the country’s recovery priorities and consistent with the Medium-Term Plan for Priority Public Investments. The unified project portfolio covers 12 key sectors, including transport, energy, housing, municipal infrastructure, education, and health care.
The portfolio consists of programs and individual projects. Approved programs (e.g., for the comprehensive recovery of settlements) will subsequently be filled with priority projects from the SPP’s of communities and regions.
It should be recalled that on August 26, 2025, the Strategic Investment Council approved the SPP, which combined 89 investment projects and 60 state programs worth UAH 11.39 trillion.
