On August 10, 2026, the first training in a series of events aimed at developing the institutional capacity of regional business support organizations on the topic of “Modern Team Interaction and Communication Skills” took place in Dnipro. The training was organized by the Dnipropetrovsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry within the framework of an initiative aimed at increasing the resilience, competitiveness, and adaptive potential of enterprises in the region, with the support of the “Partnership fund for a resilient Ukraine” program, funded by the governments of the UK, Estonia, Canada, Norway, Finland, Switzerland, and Sweden. The event was attended by representatives of regional business associations and government agencies that promote entrepreneurship development in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
During the training, participants examined how uncertainty changes approaches to teamwork, communication, and decision-making. They discussed how to act in conditions of constant change, when information may be insufficient and decisions require regular review. Participants identified the key conditions for effective team interaction: a shared understanding of the situation and priorities, clear rules for decision-making, adaptive communication, and short feedback loops. Special attention was paid to practical approaches to planning, distribution of responsibility, delegation, and maintaining team effectiveness.
An important part of the training was the introduction to the DISC methodology, which helps to better understand people’s behavioral characteristics and adapt communication according to different interaction styles. The participants worked with practical situations, analyzed the causes of communication difficulties, and determined how behavioral characteristics can affect task setting, motivation, delegation, and feedback. The acquired tools allow managers to build more flexible interactions with team members and increase the effectiveness of collaborative work.
The training was conducted by Svitlana Nasyrova, owner of Nasyrova Consulting agency, business consultant in strategic marketing and business development, PhD, MBA, and lecturer in MBA and Master’s programs at KROK Business School. Svitlana Nasyrova is a consultant for UN agencies in Ukraine, as well as for EBRD, UNDP, IOM projects, and Chambers of Commerce and Industry. Her specialization encompasses strategizing, strategic thinking for executives, managerial skills, and negotiations. The practical format of the training allowed participants not only to gain new knowledge but also to apply it to real-life situations of team interaction.
Specialists from the Dnipropetrovsk Investment Agency (DIA) also actively participated in the training program. The gained practical experience, new approaches to team planning, and understanding of behavioral models will help DIA strengthen its institutional capacity and respond even more promptly to today’s challenges.
The next training in this series will take place on September 15, 2026, and will be dedicated to the topic of “Productivity Management: Priorities, Time, and AI Assistants”. Participants will work with practical tools for productivity management, prioritization, time planning, and the use of AI assistants to optimize workflows. The series of training sessions is designed to strengthen the institutional capacity of regional business support organizations and provide their teams with modern tools for effective work in an environment of constant change.
