Dnipropetrovsk region and the Czech Republic: a resilient partnership and support

The Dnipropetrovsk Investment Agency (DIA) had the honour of holding a meeting led by the Chairman of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council Mykola Lukashuk with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Luboš Veselý and a delegation of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Ukraine.

During the meeting, the parties discussed healthcare, rehabilitation, the construction of shelters in schools, and the continuation of projects being implemented in the region.

Dnipro already hosts a Diplomatic Representative Office of the Czech Embassy, an office for business, practical cooperation, experience exchange and partnership strengthening, which will enable more effective planning and implementation of important joint projects in the areas of economy, security, medicine, education and reconstruction.

Particular attention was also given to water supply systems, the operation of hospitals, schools and critical infrastructure, and identified priority areas of assistance, such as backup power systems, cogeneration units, as well as financial instruments to help implement these solutions.

Now in the fifth year of the full-scale war, the Czech Republic remains among Ukraine’s partners that combine political support with concrete practical solutions. Its contribution is visible where results are measured not by statements, but by capabilities.
