PJSC “Dniprovskyi Metallurgical Plant” – one of the largest enterprises of the mining and metallurgical complex of Ukraine, which is specialized in the production of cast iron, steel, rolled products and provides employment for 9,5 thousand people. Every month the metallurgical plant recounts taxes and fees, filling the budget of Kamianske almost by 40%.

In 2018, DMP increased steel smelting by 77%, to 2,413 million tons, and, according to the results of the first half of this year, 1.359 million tons of metal was produced. Wages of employees of DMP, increased by 58% for the past year, and since April 1, 2019, it has been increased by another 20%.

In 2018, DMP invested more than $ 13 million in environmental projects, in particular, “Overhaul with upgrading of convector gas cleaning №1 and №2 “for $ 6.7 million and $ 5.7 million, respectively. The ecological effect of these investments is the reduction of pollutants into the atmosphere in the volume of 118 t / year.

This year, due to the investments in production, DMP started output of three new types of products – wire rods with a diameter of 11.5 mm, round rolled products with a cross section of 25 mm and a periodic profile № 18.

In the current year, DMP continues to invest in previously started projects, in particular overhaul of blast furnace № 12 and sinter machine № 7. In addition, the Director General of the steel mill Oleksandr Podkorytov announced the start of the design of a new blast furnace, the construction is scheduled to be completed by 2021.
