This was stated by Volodymyr Groysman, Prime Minister of Ukraine, during a presentation of the Investment Support Office of Ukraine at a Government meeting on Wednesday.

„I’d like that each region would determine clear indicators for each business project in 5-10 positions. If „green” – the situation is normal, the investor works fine. As soon as we get information that there are problems with either tax authorities or regulatory agencies, we have to immediately help to remove all those problems, even that this process would go unnoticed for the investor. This is our task, and our objective to do projects „turnkey”: it is an investment, if you want to build a factory, enterprises – we will do for you all the organizational work that depends on the government. Just be successful, do your job”, Volodymyr Groysman explained.

The Prime Minister noted that he had been an initiator of creation of the Investment Support Office of Ukraine with an aim of forming an efficient mechanism to support and protect investments in the country.

Volodymyr Groysman expressed his assurance that the task of attracting additional resource into the Ukrainian economy is easily attainable.

Leveraging of investment depends on the Government and local authorities, he emphasized. In this regard the Head of Government urged representatives of government to realize the importance of their work and prompt them to service the business.

„We should work for the economy and for those who create the economy. I am ready all round the clock to work for those who invest in Ukraine, who creates workplaces and national product”, he stressed.

Volodymyr Groysman added that he would offer the Director of the Investment Support Office of Ukraine Danylo Bilak to get the status of Adviser to the Prime Minister.

He thanked Oksana Markarova, First Deputy Finance Minister, for the formation of the Office and the team, as well as Western NIS Enterprise Fund for the support and funding the establishment and operation of the Office. He noted that the Fund had conducted a „brilliant” unbiased contest to select the management staff.
