Doing business
The war has transformed logistics in Ukraine: routes have become longer, transportation costs are now more affected by risks, and businesses increasingly require reliable “anchor points,” including transport services, warehouses, transshipment sites, and infrastructure along key highways. For Dnipropetrovsk region, which remains an important industrial and transportation hub, the development of logistics infrastructure directly impacts the region’s competitiveness and the delivery speed of goods.
DIA has updated its “Logistics” section and compiled a selection of investment projects from local businesses to offer investors and partners the latest opportunities. Currently, two projects are being supported, focused on the rapid implementation of infrastructure solutions:
Each project has a clearly defined aim, technical parameters, and implementation plan. Specifically, the investment project in the Yavornytsia community involves developing infrastructure on an undeveloped plot of land located along a highway, which makes it convenient for creating a multifunctional logistics hub. Possible areas of development include:
The implementation of such projects has a significant impact on the region: it improves business conditions, strengthens industrial and transportation infrastructure, creates new jobs and generates additional revenue for local budgets. Economic indicators are defined considering the selected configuration of the facility and the target sector for the project. Possible cooperation mechanisms include establishing a joint venture (with a target return on investment of 5 – 6 years) or selling the land plot.
