Participants of the International Trade Club assess the potential of Dnipropetrovsk region

On March 22, 2018, a meeting of International Trade Club participants with the leadership and business of the region was held in Dnipropetrovsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The club has been existing for more than 25 years. It unites advisers on trade and economic issues of different countries embassies, representatives of international organizations, and its purpose is to inform foreign diplomats about the economic potential of Ukraine, including Dnipropetrovsk region. The result of the work is to improve the image and attract new investments. This year, the meeting was attended by officials responsible for trade and economic cooperation with Ukraine, the embassies of China, Hungary, Romania, Canada, Norway, Slovakia, Argentina, Malaysia, Belgium, Spain, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Poland, Bulgaria, Finland, and Representation of the European Union in Ukraine.

“The meeting of the International Trade Club has been held for the sixth time in Dnipro city. First of all, this is not communication for communication, but the establishment of appropriate business contacts and the exchange of proposals both from our side and from representatives of trade and economic missions representing those countries that are potential and promising partners of the region. We hope that the result of the Trade Club work will be the improvement of Ukraine and our region international image, positive dynamics of regions foreign trade turnover growth, increase in foreign investment, joint ventures creation and foreign companies representative offices opening,” – Valentyna Zatyshniak, DIA Director said.
