Doing business
The updated Investment Guide 2024-2025 of Dnipropetrovska oblast, prepared by the DIA team, traditionally offers investors a convenient format for getting to know the region and its opportunities, as well as helps them find effective and promising investment mechanisms.
This year’s edition of the Guide demonstrates the resilience of the region, which confidently responds to most of the challenges of the war and its consequences. Dnipropetrovska oblast continues to maintain its investment, industrial and foreign trade leadership among other oblasts, developing energy sustainability, actively cooperating with international partners and providing shelter to relocated businesses and people from the South, East and North of Ukraine.
Traditionally, the Guide provides detailed information on the structure of the region’s economy, the dynamics of its sectors, the leading enterprises representing them, and the top export items.
The projects featured in the Investment Guide are also promoted on the platforms of UkraineInvest and the European Business Association (EBA). In addition, the publication offers information on industrial buildings for the placement of production facilities – large facilities with an area of more than 1000 m2. It also contains information about the new industrial park, land plots adapted for most types of businesses and projects, as well as strategic investment areas of critical interest to the region’s and the country’s economy (titanium, float glass, agricultural machinery, building materials, renewable energy, etc.)
The Investment Guide 2024-2025 contains data on the existing mechanisms for introducing preferences within investment projects. In particular, projects with investments of more than €30 million are exempt from import duties on agricultural equipment and energy-saving equipment. Communities in the region, within their powers, can also reduce the level of land and real estate tax for a company that will implement a project in a priority industry for the community.
For those interested in the details of foreign economic relations and other economic indicators, the Investment Guide has a link to the DIAGRAM module, which contains all the information and key indicators for both the region and Ukraine.
The updated edition will be traditionally distributed to international chambers of commerce, diplomatic missions, academia both abroad and in Ukraine, as well as to government and business representatives of partner regions that use the Guide as the most understandable and valid source of information about the region. The updated version of this investment tool is already available here.
