Switzerland starts accepting applications for projects to restore Ukraine

The announcement of the call for proposals is a continuation of the memorandum between Ukraine and Switzerland on the allocation of 50 million Swiss francs for projects of Swiss companies in Ukraine.

Through this call for proposals, Switzerland will support projects from Swiss companies with a legal entity in Ukraine that meet Ukraine’s recovery and reconstruction needs. The total budget of the call is CHF 50 million, with individual projects available for funding from CHF 1 to 15 million.

The call is open from January 30 to February 28, 2025 (23:59 CET).

We invite eligible Swiss companies in Ukraine to submit their project proposals. Detailed information on the application process, documentation and selection criteria are available here.

For reference:

On January 23, 2025, during the World Economic Forum in Davos, Ukraine and Switzerland signed a Memorandum of Understanding as part of efforts to engage the Swiss private sector in recovery and reconstruction projects.

According to the memorandum, SECO will provide 50 million francs to support reconstruction projects in Ukraine. This funding is part of a broader CHF 1.5 billion support package under the International Cooperation Strategy 2025-2028, which was endorsed by the Swiss Parliament on December 20, 2024.
