The ECA provided 587.3 million hryvnia in support of Ukrainian exports in August

In August, ECA Supported Ukrainian Exports Worth UAH 587.3 Million

In August 2026, the Export Credit Agency of Ukraine (ECA) supported the export of Ukrainian goods worth over UAH 587.32 million.

Khmelnytskyi Region became the leading region by volume of exports supported by the ECA in August, reaching UAH 342.79 million. This accounts for more than half of the total volume of shipments supported during the month.

The top three leading regions also included:

  • Kyiv Region — UAH 141.53 million;
  • Lviv Region — UAH 51.86 million.

In addition, enterprises in Chernivtsi, Rivne, and Cherkasy regions utilized ECA support.

Poland Became the Main Sales Market

Ukrainian products whose foreign trade shipments were insured by the ECA were exported to 12 countries in August.

The largest export destinations were:

  • Poland — UAH 415.02 million;
  • Germany — UAH 118 million;
  • Benelux countries — UAH 30.76 million.

These figures demonstrate the significant role of the European Union market for enterprises that used ECA instruments to conduct foreign economic operations in August.

Furniture Accounted for the Largest Share of Supported Shipments

In terms of commodity structure, the largest volume fell under the category “manufacture of other furniture” — UAH 342.79 million.

Other leading areas included:

  • processing and preserving of fish, crustaceans, and molluscs;
  • manufacture of cocoa, chocolate, and sugar confectionery.

Thus, the support encompassed not only traditional export industries, but also products with a higher degree of processing.
