On October 19, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine presented the results of” “The Efficient Communities”. The jury considered 700 applications, both implemented projects and projects that are only planned for implementation, and selected 39 winners in 16 nominations.

The contest was the first stage in assessing the digital transformation of local communities in order to write a future strategy for the digital transformation of regions in Ukraine. The success stories of the winning communities in November will be disseminated for further implementation in the regions, and by the end of the year, the portal “Diia Digital Community” will be available for local communities implementing digital transformation.

The winners from Dnipropetrovsk region are:

• Nomination “Digital Volunteering” – the city of Dnipro,
• Nomination “Digital Ecosystem” – Mezhivska ATC and Sofiivska ATC,
• Nomination “Digital Community Development” – the city of Kryvyi Rih,
• Nomination “Interaction of government and community” – Pokrovska community.
