The investment firm Dragon Capital will invest €1.2 billion in Ukraine’s economy over three years

Ukrainian investment company Dragon Capital plans to direct approximately €1.2 billion towards the development of businesses and investment projects in Ukraine over the next three years.

Dragon Capital is one of Ukraine’s largest investment groups, operating in private equity, financial services and asset management. The company was founded in Kyiv in 2000. Its investment portfolio includes companies and projects in real estate, the financial sector, industry, energy and other sectors.

The group’s investment plans signal its intention to expand its presence in the Ukrainian market and to take part in the development of the economy even amid wartime risks. Promising areas for capital investment include energy, infrastructure, logistics, manufacturing, real estate and the financial sector.

Attracting international financing plays an important role in Dragon Capital’s strategy. Together with foreign partners, the company is developing investment funds focused on Ukraine’s recovery, support for private business and infrastructure modernisation.

The expansion of investment activity may contribute to the creation of new production capacity, the development of energy infrastructure and the attraction of additional capital into Ukrainian companies. The implementation of the announced plans will also serve as an important indicator of private-sector investment activity during the full-scale war.

Dragon Capital continues to develop its investment portfolio in Ukraine, focusing on long-term projects and sectors capable of ensuring the country’s sustainable economic growth and recovery.
