In January–May 2026, goods worth $40.5 billion were imported into Ukraine, while exports amounted to $17.5 billion. The total trade turnover for the first five months of the current year reached $58 billion.
According to the report, the countries from which the largest volumes of goods were imported into Ukraine during the specified period are China — $11.1 billion, Poland — $3.9 billion, and Turkey — $2.7 billion.
The largest export destinations from Ukraine were Poland — $2 billion, Turkey — $1.5 billion, and Italy — $1.1 billion.
The top three commodity groups exported from Ukraine in January–April included food products ($10.6 billion), metals and metal products ($1.7 billion), and machinery, equipment, and transport ($1.5 billion).
During customs clearance of exports subject to export duties, UAH 744.3 million was remitted to the state budget.
