As of the end of May, Ukraine had exported 32.787 million tonnes of grain and leguminous crops since the beginning of the 2025/26 marketing year (MY), of which 2.589 million tonnes were shipped in the current month. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy with reference to operational data from the State Customs Service of Ukraine.

It is noted that as of the end of May last year, total shipments amounted to 38.183 million tonnes, including 2.875 million tonnes in May.

By crop, exports since the beginning of the current season were as follows:

•  wheat — 12.271 million tonnes (in 2024/25 MY — 14.803 million tonnes);
•  barley — 1.482 million tonnes (2.305 million tonnes);
•  rye — 0.2 thousand tonnes (10.8 thousand tonnes);
• corn — 18.594 million tonnes (20.471 million tonnes).

Total exports of Ukrainian flour since the beginning of the season as of 25 May were estimated at 56.3 thousand tonnes (in 2024/25 MY — 64.6 thousand tonnes), including wheat flour — 54.8 thousand tonnes (60.3 thousand tonnes).
