Up to UAH 8 million for development: a new grant program for defense manufacturers

The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine and the Ministry of Strategic Industries are launching a new grant program for manufacturers of components for weapons and military equipment – Made for Victory. This is a new direction within the state support program “Grants for Processing Industry Producers”, which aims to stimulate localization of production, development of the processing industry and strengthening of Ukraine’s defense capabilities.

Program terms and conditions

As part of the initiative, companies can receive up to UAH 8 million on a co-financing basis – 50% is covered by the state and 50% by producers. For companies located in frontline regions or producing air and space aircraft (NACE 30.30), the state share can reach 80%. Funding is provided for the purchase, delivery and installation of equipment.

The main conditions for using the grant are the creation of at least 5 new jobs and the repayment of grant funds within three years through the payment of taxes.

Who is eligible?

The program is open to both operating enterprises and those that are just planning to start production. The main thing is that the project for which the grant application is submitted must be in the processing industry, and the company itself must meet the basic requirements of transparency, tax discipline, and have no ties to the aggressor state.

How to participate?

To participate in the program, you need to choose a bank and submit an application along with a business plan via the Diia portal. Applications are reviewed every two weeks.
