The Opendatabot service conducted a thorough analysis of the activities of new enterprises

Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, Ukrainians have opened about 150,000 enterprises. Of them, 134,000 are individual entrepreneurs, according to data from the Opendatabot service.

The largest share of new businesses works in retail (23.7%), software (17.4%) and wholesale (6.4%).

The rest of the new enterprises (14,000) are legal entities. Most of them are engaged in social assistance (32.8%), wholesale trade (15.2%) and work as public organizations (13.1%).

The number of new registered businesses in Ukraine is growing every month. For example, in the first week of August, the number of new individual entrepreneurs exceeded the figures of the last week before the invasion (5,306 new individual entrepreneurs versus 5,231).

In total, 1.9 million individual entrepreneurs work in Ukraine.
