Support to Ukrainian companies to integrate into the Single Market — Ukraine-Ready4EU

The programme will support Ukrainian companies in their integration into the Single Market until October 2025. The programme budget is EUR 3.75 million combined with access to additional services (e.g. EEN, ECCP, EYE, platforms, initiatives). The program is implemented on the basis of grant agreement No. 101139573

The programme aims to encourage and assist Ukrainian SMEs to become active in the EU Single Market and successfully cooperate with EU business partners.

As part of the project, 1 500 eligible Ukrainian SMEs wishing to enter the EU Single Market will be able to receive vouchers worth €2,500.

Microgrants can be used for:

  • participation in trade missions, brokerage events, organisation of a stand at international exhibitions and other international events that facilitate partnerships with foreign businesses of EU member states.

Eligibility criteria include:

  • The legal status and geographical location of the companies
  • Their size and potential
  • Their readiness and willingness to engage in the Single Market
  • Their goals and planned activities
  • The prospect of success of their action plan

Who can apply?

Ukrainian SMEs and start-ups that meet the following criteria are invited to apply:

  • The applicant is a Ukrainian company located and operating in the territory controlled by Ukraine and/or has relocated to EU countries but is still registered in Ukraine.
  • The Applicant is an existing Ukrainian company registered in accordance with the laws of Ukraine.
  • The Applicant is not in the process of liquidation or termination of business activities.
  • The Applicant is a Ukrainian company that meets the European definition of an SME. The full definition can be found here.

Eligible activities:

Eligible activities are travel to and active participation in international fairs, other events or meetings in the EU, especially in events organized by members of the Cluster Alliance, the European Cluster Cooperation Platform or the Enterprise Europe Network.

“Active participation” means that the Ukrainian SME either actively presents its company, its products, and/or its services to the audience, or it has meetings with potential business partners based in the EU member state (minimum one). Only active participations which can be documented and proved independently, e.g. by official documents of the organizer of the event, are eligible.

Eligible expenses (examples, non-exhaustive):

  • Travel, accommodation and daily subsistence (all payments need to be done in accordance with the Ukrainian legislation and norms (non-eligible payments: 1st class tickets or business class flight tickets; accommodation costs exceeding 160 EUR per night (if not absolutely essential and duly justified)); expenses on catering, dinner or lunch covered by daily subsistence).
  • Payment for specialized tickets to exhibitions, fairs, roadshows.
  • Costs for renting an exhibition booth.
  • Booth design and rental of additional equipment.
  • Organizational fees or participation fees.
  • Payment for support and translation services during the exhibition, business mission.
  • Design and printing of promotional materials for company presentation.
  • Design and printing of additional printed materials.
  • Rent of showroom, exhibition space.
  • Payment for transportation of exhibition samples, materials, goods.
  • Registration fees for exhibitors.
  • Insurance for travellers.
  • Cost for money exchange and bank transfers related to the payments above.

Applications for participation in the programme are accepted until 30 June 2025 and will be evaluated by the European Commission at the end of this month.

The organisers of the UkraineReady4EU project have the right to stop accepting application forms before the official closing of the project. Such a decision is possible if the European Commission approves an exhaustive number of applications from SMEs for financial support provided under the Project — EUR 3.75 million in combination with access to additional services (e.g. EEN, ECCP, EYE, platforms, initiatives).
