Activities of foreign investor companies in Dnipropetrovsk region

As of January 1, 2024, 851 foreign companies from 65 countries operate in Dnipropetrovsk region. The total amount of foreign investment in Dnipropetrovsk region has accumulated to $6.2 billion. 

In 2023, despite the military aggression of the Russian Federation, 23 foreign companies invested more than $63.4 million in their operations, including: SHIMANIVSKE STEEL LLC (Cyprus), TRADE HOUSE AGROALIANCE LTD (Virgin Islands), LLC TRADING COMPANY ASTERRA(Virgin Islands), STEKO PLANT LLC (UAE), LANDMANN LLC (Switzerland), and others.

The trend of relocation of foreign companies continues. Last year, 14 companies with foreign investments relocated to Dnipropetrovsk region. These companies moved their registration from Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv and Odesa regions. Among them, the following should be noted:

  • MOBILE HEAVY MACHINERY LLC – provides long-term and short-term lease of new or used machinery (Lithuania, Latvia);
  • LLC PLEMPTACHOKOMBINAT ZAPORIZKIY, which grows hatching eggs, and Geolan Agro LLC, which grows grain, are part of the Agro-Industrial Group of Companies Dniprovska (Cyprus);

The industrial sector is represented by 123 companies. The region is home to the production facilities of ArcelorMittal Kryviy Rih (Germany), CENTRAVIS PRODUCTION UKRAINE (Switzerland), POLSTAR LLC (Austria), Linde Gas Ukraine (Germany), Shymanivske Steel LLC (Cyprus), and others. The largest investors in this sector are Cyprus, Turkey, Germany, the Netherlands, and the Virgin Islands.

There are 65 companies operating in the agricultural sector, including reputable and recognizable global brands such as: MAS Seeds Ukraine LLC (France), NADEZHDA LLC (Lesaffre group, France), AGRO KMR LLC (France), Bimbo QSR Ukraine (Spain), and Milk House LLC (Belgium). The largest investor countries are France, Cyprus, the United States, Turkey, and the Netherlands.

The construction sector has 53 companies. Among the largest companies are: Caparol Dnipro LLC (Germany), PJSC Enterprise with II INTERKERAMA (Malta), ZAVOD SWEETONDALE LLC (Czech Republic), and DANIELI HEAVY MACHINERY ENGINEERING LLC (Luxembourg). Cyprus, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, and Austria made the largest investments.

The trade sector is represented by 270 companies. These include large chains such as ATB, EVA, Varus and Comfy, distribution companies, and small retailers. Cyprus, Germany, and the United Kingdom are the leaders in investment.

There are 340 companies with foreign investments in the service sector in the region. Among the largest companies in the service sector are: Deca Service LLC (Turkey), Skoda Transportation Ukraine LLC (Czech Republic), Metallurgtrans LLC (Austria), LAUDE.UA LLC (Poland), and Oxford Medical Dnipro LLC (Israel).
