The Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC2024) is taking place in Berlin, bringing together leaders of governments, international organisations, financial institutions, businesses, regions, municipalities and civil society.

Ukraine Investment Guide was presented at the event, which highlights priority sectors of the economy both at the national and regional levels.

Despite the challenges and risks of investing in Ukraine during the war, our country already offers reliable proposals and incentives. As we have G7 and EU guarantees, war risk insurance, government programmes and preference instruments, simplified procedures and access to affordable financing.

EU countries are an example of sustainable cooperation and are the main investors in Dnipropetrovsk region. Currently, 567 European companies operate in the region and have invested $5.8 billion in our economy.

There were 72 projects for the restoration of Dnipropetrovsk region and 32 regional investment projects, which are primarily focused on the Ukrainian market, presented to the conference participants. These investment projects were initiated by communities and businesses and are aimed at both expanding their own production and developing the infrastructure of the territories. These are projects in industry and energy, agriculture and construction materials, housing and logistics infrastructure, water supply and healthcare.

Recovery of Ukraine is a large-scale process. The projects of Dnipropetrovsk region are also presented on the national DREAM platform, which integrates with the Prozorro system, ensuring transparency and accountability of the full project implementation cycle.

The region invites investors to join us on this transformational path to a sustainable future, contributing to recovery and economic growth.
