Since July 2024, Ukraine has increased grain exports to $11 billion

In July-January of 2024/2025 marketing year (MY), Ukraine exported $11 bln worth of grains and oilseeds, which is $1.3 bln more than in the same period last season.

Among the grains, corn exports amounted to $2.412 bln (against 2.098 bln in 2023/2024 MY), wheat – $2.084 bln (against $1.488 bln last season), barley – $350 mln (against $212 mln).

This season, the supplies of some oilseeds increased, in particular, soybeans – up to $909 mln (against $718 mln in 2023/2024 MY) and rapeseed – up to $1.452 bln ($1.145 bln).

At the same time, the exports of sunflower seeds decreased to $22 mln, compared to $57 mln in the same period of the previous season.

Despite the decline in exports of sunflower oil this season, the revenue among all the crops represented is the highest – up to $2.701 bln ($2.777 bln in the previous season).

In addition, the revenue from the export of meal decreased to $682 mln ($774 mln in 2023/2024 MY) and other vegetable oils – to $393 mln ($438 mln).
