The NGO Professionals of the Future, within the framework of the UN Women project “Transformative Approaches to Achieving Gender Equality in Ukraine”, has started recruiting for the third wave of the free mentoring program Women For The Future. The initiative aims to help women advance in their professional development and/or restart their careers, expand their network of useful contacts and/or start their own businesses.

About the program

The program will run from June to August 2025. Together with mentors, participants will have the opportunity to work on current professional challenges and difficulties, in particular:

• determine the vector of movement in professional activity after a career break or career crisis;
• develop an individual professional development plan;
• prepare for the employment process both in the current specialty and in a new one after retraining;
• learn more about the current situation on the labor market, available opportunities for professional fulfillment and earnings;
• prepare for starting an entrepreneurial activity or freelance work;
• understand how to make a transition from a role

Who is it for?

The program is open to women and girls who have lost their jobs as a result of the full-scale war and:

• face discrimination in the labor market, in particular due to age, disability, IDP status, etc.;
• are resuming their careers after parental leave, study, illness;
• are raising children on their own / are mothers of many children;
• are veterans / partners of military personnel or veterans, etc.

Participants will be selected on a competitive basis.
