Ukrainian industrial company Interpipe increased its pipe sales by 14.4% in the first half of 2025 compared to the same period in 2024, reaching 302,000 tons.
The bulk of the pipes were shipped to Europe (110,000 tons, down 1.8% year-on-year) and America (67,000 tons, up 39.6% year-on-year). 53 thousand tons of pipes were shipped to the domestic market, which is 17.8% more than in the first half of 2024. In the second quarter, sales of pipe products increased by 5.4% compared to the previous quarter, to 155 thousand tons, in particular, to the EU – 52 thousand tons (-10.3% q/q), to America – 30 thousand tons (-18.9% q/q), and to the domestic market – 33 thousand tons (+57.1% q/q).
Sales of railway products for 6 months decreased by 5.2% y/y – to 55 thousand tons. The European market received 38 thousand tons (-5% y/y), while the Ukrainian market received 6 thousand tons (-33.3% y/y). In Q2, 29 thousand tons were sold (+11.5% q/q).
Steel production in January-June decreased by 17.8% compared to the first half of 2024, to 352 thousand tons. Pipe production increased by 7.7% y/y, to 278 thousand tons. The largest share is accounted for by line pipes – 205 thousand tons (+10.8% y/y) and OCTG pipes – 70 thousand tons (+2.9% y/y). Railway product production decreased by 3.6% y-o-y – to 54 thousand tons, including railway wheels – 40 thousand tons (-4.8% y-o-y).
During the quarter, steel production fell by 39% q-o-q – to 133 thousand tons, pipe production increased by 1.4% q-o-q – to 140 thousand tons, and railway product production remained at the previous quarter’s level.
