Dnipropetrovsk Investment Agency had the honor to participate in the webinar “Ukrainian Regions– Focus on Dnipropetrovsk”, organized by the Czech-Ukrainian Chamber of Industry and Commerce. This is the first online event in a series dedicated to Ukrainian regions. The director of agency, Valentyna Zatyshniak, presented the potential of region for future investments.

Key takeaways were discussed during the event, such as:

  • main industries for investment and cooperation;
  • logistical advantages of the region;
  • opportunities for creating joint companies and localizing production;
  • business and investor support programmes implemented at the regional level.

Dnipropetrovsk region remains resilient and promising for investment and business despite the ongoing war, leading in foreign direct investment with $5.2 billion. With 70% economically active population and 451,000 internally displaced persons contributing to the economy.

Our ties with the Czech Republic are long-standing and diverse. The 2023 Agreement on Cooperation with South Moravian Region and the opening of the Czech representation office in Dnipro mark key steps in strengthening collaboration across economy, security, healthcare, education, and reconstruction.

Targeted government programs and fast support channels have proven effective. 19 Czech companies have invested $27.3 million and remain active in industry, transportation, construction, energy, and agriculture. Domestic companies also benefit from Czech business missions. The Czech Republic ranks 10th among our export partners and 6th among import partners.

There are 4 industrial parks as growth points of Dnipropetrovsk region, so we invite Czech business to join and invest in them, as well as to the implementation of the investment and rebuilding projects.

We are ready to implement innovative solutions, engage in international knowledge exchange, and attract strategic partnerships to drive sustainable growth in the years ahead.
