On 20 October 2026, Dnipro hosted the third and final training in a series of learning events for regional business support organisations, on the topic “Leadership and Client Orientation”. Specialists from the Dnipropetrovsk Investment Agency (DIA) joined the training.
The training aimed to develop leadership competencies, strengthen interaction with partners, and improve approaches to working with entrepreneurs.
During the third module, participants focused on practical leadership tools in business support organisations, in particular on ways to influence partners and stakeholders without formal authority. Special attention was paid to stakeholder management, identifying the interests and expectations of partners, donors and community representatives, and finding effective formats for cooperation.
Client orientation was an important component of the training. Participants explored approaches to identifying the real needs of entrepreneurs, using in-depth interviews to research business demands, and shaping the organisation’s value proposition. They also discussed business models of entrepreneurship support organisations and the co-design of services, initiatives and formats of interaction with various stakeholder groups.
The third training completed a three-month, three-module learning programme that covered three key areas of institutional development:
Addressing these topics in sequence made it possible to consider institutional capacity comprehensively: from effective teamwork and time management to the development of leadership, partner interaction, and services tailored to the needs of entrepreneurs.
Developing team competencies, focusing on the needs of entrepreneurs, and building effective partner interaction lay the foundation for strengthening the role of regional business support organisations in the economic development of Dnipropetrovsk region.
