A wave of grants for microbusinesses from EU4Business

Ukrainian micro-entrepreneurs from the de-occupied or war-affected territories can apply for €5,000 grants from the EU and the German government under the EU4Business programme, the press service of the Ministry of Economy reports.

To participate in the competition, an entrepreneur needs to:

  • fill out an application on the programme’s website;
  • provide information on the company’s performance before and during the war;
  • identify clear areas for the use of funds that cannot be changed during further funding.

Applications will be accepted from 2 to 30 September inclusive. For more details, please follow the link.

The winners of the programme will be determined by a rating based on the main criteria:

  • the level of damage caused by the war;
  • potential for recovery;
  • quality of measures to restore the company’s operations, etc.

The grants will be awarded to 100 micro-enterprises from the regions most affected by the war: Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Luhansk, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Kherson and Odesa regions.
