Additional 5 billion UAH for recovery projects in 12 regions

The government has allocated a subvention of UAH 5 billion under the “Ukraine Recovery Program”. The funds were distributed among community budgets to implement projects to restore damaged or outdated infrastructure.

The projects include repairs and construction of educational and healthcare institutions, administrative service centers, reconstruction of sewage systems, etc. In total, there are 153 projects in Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovs’k, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Cherkasy, and Chernihiv regions:

  • 59 – secondary education institutions;
  • 44 – health care institutions;
  • 20 – kindergartens;
  • 12 – water supply facilities;
  • 6 – administrative buildings / ASCs;
  • 9 – water disposal systems;
  • 3 – heat supply facilities.

The actual implementation of the projects began in 2024.

The “Ukraine Recovery Program” is implemented by the Ministry of Development with the financial support of the European Investment Bank.
