The Dnipropetrovsk Regional Employers’ Organization as part of the Federation of Employers’ Organizations of Dnipropetrovsk region in cooperation with the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Investment Agency – on the Ukrainian side, and the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) – on the German side, agreed to join their efforts in order to implement ”Green Solutions” for business – Unity for Sustainable Development” project, within the framework of the current Memorandum of Cooperation.

The project is focused on popularization of the ideas of green economic development in Dnipropetrovsk region, creation of conditions for implementation of modern and environmentally friendly means of production, analysis of obstacles that prevent companies from investing in new technologies, promotion of professional exchange between companies and communications with state authorities.

In the framework of the project it is planned to create a sectoral “green” database of enterprises of Dnipropetrovsk region. This database will include the data of the companies that are already introducing or planning to introduce the “green” technologies in their work.

A questionnaire has been developed to create the database of enterprises. By filling it out you automatically become a project participant that will allow you later to develop your business according to European standards, and become a member of the „leading companies in green economy club”, which will include leading enterprises, private companies and investors in the sphere of “green technologies” and innovations. The aim is to report on the further corporate activities, experience and results of successful and illustrative “green” projects, best practices, methods, technologies and come into the spotlight as a leader in the European market.
