Construction materials of Dnipropetrovsk region: updated DIA investment portfolio for the rebuilding of the country

During the war, rebuilding housing and critical infrastructure has become a daily challenge for communities and businesses. At the same time, there is growing demand for modern construction materials, energy-efficient solutions, and technologies that allow for faster, more efficient construction and lower operating costs.

To respond to these needs with relevant investment opportunities, DIA has updated its portfolio of investment projects in the construction sector. Local businesses are proposing 5 projects focused on the production of construction materials and components, either through the establishment of new facilities or the modernization of existing industrial capacity.

The updated portfolio offers investors a wide range of participation options: from projects focused on creating added value for products already present in the market (new production lines and facilities) to investments in the technological modernization of large enterprises, where the impact is reflected in cost reduction, lower energy consumption, and increased competitiveness.

Kryvyi Rih Cement PJSC is offering three investment projects. This is a major industrial enterprise where every percentage point of energy efficiency translates into significant cost savings, and technological solutions directly impact production costs and product competitiveness. That is why their projects are structured as a comprehensive production modernization program:

  • recovery of waste heat and its conversion into electricity for internal use (project cost: $29 million, of which $8.7 million comes from the company’s own resources);
  • modernization of the clinker kiln to increase productivity and partially switch to RDF alternative fuel (project cost: $25 million, of which $7.5 million is company funding);
  • modernization of equipment for the use of RDF fuel for clinker calcination (project cost: $4.4 million, of which $1.4 million is company funding)—this is a project to gradually replace a portion of coal with RDF, an alternative fuel derived from processed municipal solid waste.

These projects are open to joint financing and technology partnerships: Kryvyi Rih Cement PJSC is already contributing its own funds to their implementation, and investors are invited to join the financing package and project implementation.

DIA is ready to facilitate communication with the project initiators for further mutually beneficial cooperation if you are interested in investment projects in the construction materials sector. Detailed information about the projects is available on the DIA investment portal in the “Investment Projects” section.
