Dnipropetrovsk region together with the Czech Republic, has implemented a significant number of joint projects for the people of the region. Among them are equipment for hospitals in Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih and Marhanets, new water purification systems for communities, a mental health center as part of Olena Zelenska’s “How are you?” project and others.

The office of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Ukraine is already operating in Dnipro. It is a representative base for business, practical cooperation, exchange of experience, and strengthening of partnerships, which will enable more effective planning and implementation of important joint projects in the fields of economy, security, medicine, education, and recovery.

Future plans include cooperation with Czech partners on the construction of a modern rehabilitation center in Kryvyi Rih, similar to the Superhumans Center currently being developed in Dnipro. There will also be cooperation between our medical universities in Dnipro and Donetsk State Medical University, which will soon begin operating in Kryvyi Rih.

In addition, Czech Republic provided medical support to Kryvyi Rih worth almost UAH 18 million. Individual medical facilities received assistance from Caritas Czech Republic. Also, Czech partners help our communities in the municipal sector.

In addition, cooperation in the field of culture was discussed.

We express our gratitude to the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic, Luboš Veselý, the Czech delegation and people of the Czech Republic for their support of our critical frontline region.
