The export of food eggs since the beginning of the year amounted to 228 mln units. This is 42 % less than during the same period last year.

It is noted that the decline in exports is due to Russia’s military aggression, occupation of territories and destruction of production facilities, which led to a reduction in egg production.

The blocking of maritime transportation and increasing costs of logistics have a negative impact on the volumes and financial figures of exporters.

The largest importers of Ukrainian eggs are the EU countries, Singapore, UAE and Israel.
