Export achievements of Ukraine in 2025

Throughout 2025, due to the consistent and coordinated work of specialists from the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Economy, and Ukrainian diplomatic missions abroad, 19 new markets were opened for the export of Ukrainian agricultural products.

Expanding export geography not only provides additional opportunities for the development of the national economy, but also confirms the effectiveness of the state control system, proper epizootic supervision and proves, that even in wartime, Ukraine remains a reliable and responsible trading partner on the international arena.

Non-food animal products and feed

In 2025, new opportunities opened up for the export of products used in feed production and animal keeping. The following markets were opened:

Republic of Moldova:  

  • canned domestic animal feed;
  • processed domestic animal feed (except canned);
  • milk, milk-based products, and milk derivatives not intended for human consumption;

Republic of Turkey – canned domestic animal feed;

Republic of Chile – meal from guts, meat and bone flour, feather flour, oils or fats from poultry, pigs, and horses;

Bosnia and Herzegovina:  

  • rendered fats not intended for human consumption, used as feed material;
  • processed animal protein not intended for human consumption, including mixtures and products other than pet food containing such protein;

Vietnam – milk, milk-based products, and products derived from milk not intended for human consumption.

Eggs and egg products

The market for eggs and egg products continues to show high export potential. Markets opened:

  • Albania – eggs for human consumption;
  • Canada – edible eggs;
  • Malaysia – egg products.

Milk and dairy products

In 2025, the geography of exports of both food and non-food milk products was expanded. The following markets were opened:

Malaysia – milk and dairy products intended for human consumption.

Meat and processed poultry products

  • Ukrainian poultry products comply with international market requirements and have stable demand. Markets have been opened in:
  • Sultanate of Oman – meat, by-products and other poultry products;
  • Georgia – composite products containing poultry meat and dairy products, cooked to culinary readiness, intended for human consumption.

Fish and aquatic biological resources

In 2025, Ukrainian fish products have significantly expanded their access to Asian markets. The following markets have been opened:

People’s Republic of China:

  • marine mammals;
  • wild-caught aquatic products.

Processed food products

Foreign partners are showing growing interest in Ukrainian products with high added value. Markets opened:

State of Kuwait – processed food products.

Plant-based products

Along with products of animal origin, new markets were opened for Ukrainian plant products in 2025. The following markets were opened:

  • The People’s Republic of China – peas;
  • Canada – apples.

The opening of 19 new markets in 2025 is convincing proof of the effectiveness and coordination of the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection. Thanks to the professionalism of the specialists of the service and their daily work at the national and international levels, Ukrainian manufacturers are gaining new opportunities for development, and the country is strengthening its export potential.
