On March 15, 2018, DIA together with its partners from Dnipro Development Agency and the State Enterprise “Investment and Innovation Center” met with German experts on the industrial parks construction projects implementation in Dnipropetrovsk region.

The experts were interested in priority areas of development, preferences provided by the state for companies participating in the industrial park, industrial park introducing process in the register and the obstacles that the project initiators face.

In his turn, Oleksandr Kolomiitsev, Director of the State Enterprise “Investment and Innovation Center” presented the project for the industrial park “Pavlohrad” construction. He talked about the advantages, resources availability and integration mechanism into industrial park. He also emphasized that the memorandum for cooperation has already been signed with four foreign partners. The area of the industrial park is 250 hectares, 50 hectares of which are already leased from potential project participants. The construction on this territory is going to be started this spring.

The project for the industrial park “Industrial Forpost” construction was presented by Olena Ivanytska, the Head of the Industrial Park project. Ms. Elena detailed the main priorities of the project. The project goal is to create IT-cluster in the middle of the park. It is expected that as a result of the project implementation not only jobs will be created, but also specialists will be trained, IT-incubator will be created that will select projects and then provide consulting assistance to create start-ups. By the way, the Agency has won two EU grants, it is a grant for IT-incubator creation and for the exhibition complex construction in the city. Now the Agency is actively engaged in the process of searching for partners for the industrial park further development.
