Investment projects are a component of the recovery of Dnipropetrovsk region and a driving force in terms of business development and the formation of the economy. In order to attract the attention of the global and domestic business community to new investment opportunities in the region, the Dnipropetrovsk Investment Agency (DIA) continues to support and promote investment projects from active communities and existing enterprises that work in the region, seek to expand their activities or modernize their production.

DIA, in cooperation with the European Business Association, Global Business for Ukraine, Ukraine Invest, launched the Map of Investment and Business Opportunities of Dnipropetrovsk region, consisting of 27 investment projects of the region, identified in all sectors of the economy:

• industry and energy (projects of launching production lines of various types of products, creation of production facilities and “green” investments);
• agro-industrial sector (projects on growing, processing, storage of fruit and vegetable products, production of dry snail mucus and flour milling and grain products, opening of a milk processing plant and a honey processing enterprise);
• construction sector (construction of a residential complex, cottage construction, creation of production facilities for applying polymers to galvanized steel/aluminum and building materials);
• services (projects of logistics infrastructure, construction of processing complexes, disposal and storage of solid household waste, as well as creation of modern, sports and health facilities);
• trade (opening of the modern market).

Investment projects of Dnipropetrovsk region contain information not only about the main characteristics of the future product, but also the justification of the importance of introducing a new project, its goals and objectives, cooperation mechanisms, return on investment. This approach makes it possible to assess in advance the main risks associated with a new type of activity and to develop options for solving problematic issues.

It is worth remembering that times of crisis provide the greatest opportunities for investment. After all, there is an opportunity to enter the investment markets with lower prices and get significant profits in the future. Dnipropetrovsk region has become a brand: we are already known in the world, our military is admired. Therefore, it can be expected that later it will become a good basis for attracting foreign investments.
