Investments FE “Vidrodzennia”- a new standard for intensive horticulture

FE “Vidrodzennia, located in Dnipropetrovsk region, has become a leader in innovations in the Ukrainian fruit and vegetable industry. By investing in modern cultivation technologies and using advanced breeding, the company is actively developing stone fruits, saturating the market with world-class domestic products.

Thanks to investments, in 2024 the area of the company’s intensive stone fruit orchard reached 32 hectares. Cherries, apricots, peaches, nectarines, and plums of European and Japanese breeding are grown on these territories. The apricot orchard deserves special attention.

French-bred apricot varieties such as Fardao and Farklo are cultivated on 10 hectares. These varieties are characterized by high yields, transportability and the ability to bear fruit even in November. Thanks to the extended harvesting season, the farm receives a stable income during periods when the market is experiencing a shortage of fresh fruit. The dense planting scheme of 1,600 trees per hectare allows for maximum efficiency in the use of the area, providing an average yield of 40-50 tons per hectare in the fourth year of fruiting.

In addition to growing, the farm is actively engaged in fruit breeding. In recent years, 13 new varieties of stone fruits such as cherries, peaches and plums have been registered. These varieties meet European quality standards and are adapted to Ukrainian climatic conditions.

Another important advantage of the farm is its own nursery. The farm offers certified seedlings for farmers who want to establish intensive orchards. This is an ideal investment project for both beginners and experienced farmers, as such projects provide high profitability, resilience to climate challenges and government support.

The farm not only invests in the cultivation of quality products, but also contributes to the sustainable growth of farming in the region by providing advice on planting gardens, choosing varieties and implementing modern care technologies. Through this support, FE “Vidrodzennia” is shaping a new approach to horticulture, promoting investment in the agricultural sector.

In addition to successful horticulture, the FE “Vidrodzennia” is the initiator of an investment project to build a complex for storing, sorting and packaging fruit and vegetable products with a capacity of 5,000 tons.

The complex will become an important part of the supply chain of quality products to consumers and will ensure almost one hundred percent crop safety. Potential mechanisms for cooperation with investors include return investments (with a payback period of 3-4 years) or the creation of a joint venture.

This large-scale project is supported by the Dnipro Investment Agency (DIA) and is aimed at ensuring the sustainable development of the region’s agro-industrial complex.

Detailed information on investment projects is available here.

FE “Vidrodzennia” demonstrates that modern farming is a combination of innovation, experience, and a desire to develop Ukraine’s agricultural sector to European standards.
