MSV 2019 – 61st International Engineering Fair

The annual MSV International Engineering Fair will take place in October 7-11, 2019 in Brno (Czech Republic). The fair dates back to 1958 and it is recognized as one of the leading European engineering fairs and the most important event for the entire industrial complex of Eastern and Central Europe.

A significant factor is the visitor profile of the fair. Every year more than 1600 exhibitors and more than 80000 visitors take part in MSV, 47% of which are foreigners. A high percentage among the fair visitors are industry experts, 70% of which make a decision on investments.

The main topic of this year is the fourth industrial revolution “Industry 4.0” and the project “Smart Factory”, which implies the digitalization of the enterprise, automation and integration into the industrial sectors as a new stage in the development of industrial production. Once again, the focus will be on the topic: “Technology and Innovation Transfer”, so it will be possible to present extensively scientific and research developments for industrial use, close connection between higher education institutions and production.

The program of events includes sector-specific conferences, seminars and workshops on relevant technical and trade-economic topics. Within the framework of MSV, the Business Opportunities Salon “Contact – Contact” B2B Fair, Business Days of the CIS countries will traditionally be held.

Dnipropetrovsk Investment Agency (DIA), as a part of the Dnipropetrovsk region delegation, will participate in separate sections of the fair, which keep up with the priorities of the regional development. The corresponding agreement was reached at DEF 2018 during working meetings with participants of the Czech delegation, headed by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic Jiří Havlicek.

In order to form the agenda of DIA participation in the fair, the Agency accepts proposals from engineering companies of the region.
