he Grant Programme for Professional Training “Own Business: A Space for Growth” launches, funded by the international humanitarian organisation CORE with support from the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine and the JSC Oschadbank. The programme aims to support the professional development of young people running their own businesses during the war.

The focus is on entrepreneurs who have received or will receive grants for starting or developing their own businesses under the Own Business (Vlasna Sprava) initiative from the Ministry of Economy.

Who can participate in the programme?

Entrepreneurs aged 18–35 who meet the following criteria:

• Are internally displaced persons (IDPs);
• Have housing that was destroyed or damaged due to hostilities;
• Reside in regions bordering the front line;
• Are young people with disabilities or have household members with disabilities;
• Have dependent minor children and/or elderly persons (aged 60 and over);
• Have participated in combat operations;
• Have chronic socially dangerous diseases (and/or their children);
• Are members of a household that has lost a breadwinner due to military actions.

Selected participants will receive grants to cover or reimburse costs for educational services essential for business development, including international courses, online learning platforms (Coursera, Udemy, edX, etc.), professional schools, training centres, retraining courses, and bespoke courses by experts in relevant business fields, all free of charge.
