Doing business
REDpreneurUA is a programme that provides knowledge, practical skills, mentoring and grant support for the implementation of social, environmental and innovative business ideas aimed at rebuilding Ukraine. The deadline for submitting applications is 26 June 2025.
The initiative is implemented by the Ukrainian Red Cross in partnership with the Austrian Red Cross and with the support of the Neighbour in Need Foundation (Austria). The training of the fourth cohort will take place in partnership with Ukrainian Future, a business incubator of the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
Over the course of three months, 25 selected participants will undergo an intensive online training programme based at the business incubator. Classes will be held twice a week and will include work on business plans, financial models and project presentations. Based on the results of the online training and the final offline defence of their business plans, 10 participants will receive a grant of €7,000 and further post-training support to implement their business ideas.
Ukrainian citizens aged 18 to 59 who live in territory controlled by the Ukrainian government and belong to one of two main categories are invited to participate in the programme:
– Initiators of business ideas in the sustainable sector of the economy with a social, innovative, and environmental focus who do not have an existing business or who have ceased operations due to the war and wish to resume them.
– Startups and technology businesses with a strong social and environmental component.
The presence of a vulnerability category (e.g., IDP status, UBD, persons with disabilities, etc.) may be an additional advantage in the selection of participants, provided that other criteria are met.
