On October, 12, 2017 in Zaporizhzhia, the II International Forum on Cooperation of Territorial Communities and Business “InCoForum 2017” was held, in which Halyna Savran, Project Manager of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Investment Agency (DIA) took part.

The II International Forum “InCoForum-2017” was devoted to topical issues of cooperation of the united territorial communities and business. During the forum three practical panels “Strengthening the capacity of communities: European experience and international technical assistance programs”, “Improving the energy efficiency of territories” and “Integration into the world community and development of international cooperation ties” were held.

“The experience of Zaporizhzhia region on strengthening the capacity of communities is interesting. At the Forum, Zaporizhzhian united territorial communities have been presented with investment passports, from which one can know what the communities are proud of, what business cooperation they need, what they see as the greatest potential for the development of their region, which projects are already implemented and which ones are promising. Thus, communities have the opportunity to find reliable partners for their development”, – Halyna Savran, DIA project manager said.

The event was initiated by the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine and the Zaporizhzhia Regional and Local Authorities, with the support of the Association of Ukrainian Cities, the Agency for Regional Development in Zaporizhzhia Region, the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Center for Local Self-Government Development.

The forum was attended by representatives of business circles and business communities from all around the world, such as Bulgaria, Georgia, Kazakhstan, the United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan, Croatia, Montenegro and others.
